Magic Strikes (Kate Daniels#3, by Ilona Andrews

5 Kate Daniels kicks ass stars!!

Magic Strikes 2

Wow, I’m not sure how Ilona Andrews continues to write these books each one better than the last!!

I mean who doesn’t love books with magic in them and a kick ass heroine. I love how Kate Daniels rarely relies on anyone even though she probably should. I love watching her friendships develop even though she acts like she doesn’t want them. I adore Julie and Derek… Andrea is pretty kickass too! The characters are so strong and so well thought out in this series. There is not a lot of time for whining in this series. You kick ass and take names later!! If you haven’t started this series please do so now!! I audio booked and read this one… amazing narrator on the audio book.

Magic Strikes

Oh the note at the end from Curran… I couldn’t stop smiling!! Those two definitely need to get together more often!!

book blurb and stuff!!

Drafted into working for the Order of Merciful Aid, mercenary Kate Daniels has more paranormal problems than she knows what to do with these days. And in Atlanta, where magic comes and goes like the tide, that’s saying a lot.

But when Kate’s werewolf friend Derek is discovered nearly dead, she must confront her greatest challenge yet. As her investigation leads her to the Midnight Games—an invitation only, no holds barred, ultimate preternatural fighting tournament—she and Curran, the Lord of the Beasts, uncover a dark plot that may forever alter the face of Atlanta’s shapeshifting community
