Anyone who follows me at all would realize I’m a huge Cassandra Clare and Shadowhunter fan!! So guess what is released today?!?!?
Lady Midnight is finally here!! Now only if I didn’t have a job I would totally just sit and devour this book!! I love all of the shadowhunter series she has written. All of the characters always make me fall in love with them. Her plot lines are always really well thought out. It’s amazing and if you haven’t read them before I would suggest starting with the Infernal Devices trilogy. If you read it after Mortal Instruments series you will have spoilers.
Guess what other wonderful book is released today??? Can you guess… it amazingly hasn’t been featured on my blog yet since I read most of them before I started my blog. Patricia Briggs released Fire Touched today!! I’m so excited to dive right back into Mercy Thompson’s world. This book has all of the paranormal you could ask for. Fire Touched is of course book nine so you will want to start with book one. I highly recommend these because it has one main ingredient that I LOVE in books. A fantastically strong lead female character. I can’t even tell you how much I love it when authors write women who are strong all around. Mercy Thompson doesn’t take crap from anyone… Go start this series now!!
I have to say I kind of put off reading another book right now because I want to start Lady Midnight as soon as it arrives today. However I did audio book Carry On by Rainbow Rowell which was one of my top 10 books from last year (technically it’s a re-read then I guess). I enjoyed jumping back into Baz an Simons world. So great!! What are you reading this week?? Anything good??
