7 Facts About Me….

 

  1. I have been married for 12 years, together with my husband for 16. Wow that makes me feel so old :/
  2. I can physically touch my tongue to my nose. Which apparently a lot of people can’t do.  My son can do it though, so yay there is two of us!
  3. I have 3 kids and so far 2 out of the 3 are book nerds. So yay for that! The youngest loves being read to but we will see when he learns how to read how that goes.
  4. We have 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 horses. Stack is a pound puppy, 7 years old, boxer rottie mix… Willa a rescue pup is 1.5 years old, she is a lab, shepherd, something, something mix…Charlie is a puppy, he is 6 months old, he is a pug/shi tzu mix. Our horses are Nick a bay quarter horse, and Posey a bay thorough bred, Cyclops the cat is a mix of Main Coon and something else, he only has one eye and was found by the kids and dogs in the yard as a kitten
  5. I prefer dark chocolate over milk chocolate. Let’s be honest though it’s all chocolate and I will eat it all.
  6. I just got my first tattoo! It is half a heart with a breast cancer ribbon, for my mommy who has Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. She got the same tattoo 😀
  7. Every 2 to 3 years I chop 10-12 inches of my hair up to my shoulders and donate it to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. I am currently waiting on my daughter to grow hers out. She would like to donate too and her dad specified it must be to her butt before donating. I may look like Rapunzel by the time she gets there. Since it’s only been 2.5 years and it’s about 3 inches from my butt.

  5. I’ve been with my hubby for 10 years, it always baffles people because we’re only 26! Yay for nerd kids and dogs! I have a mix shi Tzu/God knows what and a pure shi Tzu, they’re adorable. Love the tattoo idea, all the best to your mother! 🙂

    I love that you have rescue animals, that always makes me happy to hear. I think pet shops need to adoption days instead of selling puppies and kittens.
    I also love that you named your one-eyed cat Cyclops, so awesome! lol.
    Quarter horses are such great horses, Thoroughbreds can be or they can just be shits haha
    I have 3 thoroughbreds, 1 quarter horse, a quarter horse cross paint and she has a foal to a Clydie cross… plus the other 6 horses lol.

    1. wow that’s a lot of horses lol, our thoroughbred think’s she is a Quarter Horse so I have to really laid back horses I’m lucky. My husband used to have an Arabian that was pretty laid back too. Apparently we only do lazy pets hahah

        We have a few crazies mixed in with our laid back ones, keeps us on our toes haha.

  8. I love your facts. I would love to donate my hair as well. I haven’t had long hair in my whole life, and I’m growing it for the first time now. I love the fact that you have rescued animals! I have 2 cats.

  9. Whoa, 12 years!! I’ve just celebrated my 1 year anniversary with hubs and already think it’s a big achievement ;). Definitely a big yay for 2/3 of your kids already having been turned into book nerds! I’m so hoping my kids will turn out the same! And otherwise, I’ve always got my pets to read to. My dog loves it when I read to him :’). I LOVE seeing that most of your animals are also rescue cases. I’ve always done the same thing. So many people want a brand new pup to “shape it” themselves, but I will always go for a rescue animal first. They’re so grateful, there’s no need to shape anything. Love it that you’re donating your hair to charity! Just wow <3. And I'm sorry to hear about your mother. My dad is currently fighting stage IV bowel cancer and while we all try to keep things as normal and cheerful as possible, it sucks. Balls.

      1. He can have one of my peanut butter and chocolate thingies ;). Chemo is a great excuse to only eat the stuff you really like. You should give your mom a waffle when it gets there as well!

  10. Hey thanks for the nomination 😀 Your facts are really fun to read, even though I knew most of the things already but the dark chocolate kind of shocked me! You donate hair! I don’t even know how you come up with all the wonderful ideas to help people and raise awareness!

  11. Wow! Your facts are amazing! Congrats to your long-term marriage 😊 The celebrities need to get marriage lessons from you! I can’t touch my tongue to my nose! That’s impossible! Hahaha That’s great that your kids love to read. I am training my 5 year old to read & to love reading now 😊
