5 suspenseful heist stars!!
This book is actually made up of three corresponding novella’s. I have previously read Dark Matter by Blake Crouch and was blown away by it! When I saw that this was available for review is scooped it up right away. It was nice surprise to find chapters in between each novella from Blake Crouch. These chapters include what in this novella will be relevant for the TV show. I really liked that input from his perspective. Also, did anyone else know they are making this into a show???I would totally watch it because I am now invested into Letty I want to see where here story is going.
Okay so Letty is very damaged the first book starts off with her pulling of a little heist in a hotel. Hit up some rooms, get the goods, and head out. However she stumbles onto something bigger than herself and when she decides to intervene, the story unravels from there. I loved all three stories in this bind up however I think that Grab was my favorite novella. Maybe I was more invested into Letty by novella 3 but I really enjoyed that one.
Letty herself is just out of prison, a recovering drug addict, recovering alcoholic, and thief. Basically she should be a bad character all around, yet you will find yourself connecting with her. She is trying her best to stay clean and honest yet; she can’t help but get her rush through stealing. Her thought process is stealing is the lesser of two evils, the other evil being her addiction to drugs and alcohol. Letty definitely meets some unique and shady characters. You never quite know where her story will be going. While some does seem obvious some of the plot is definitely a surprise. I hate that some of the people you trust most seem to be the ones that hurt her the most.
All in all I would highly suggest this little bind up to any fans of Blake Crouch or fans just of nitty gritty, suspenseful, mystery books.
Thank you to Thomas and Mercer, Netgalley and Blake Crouch for the advance copy in lieu of my honest review.

I don’t typically read novellas but this came highly recommended by the friend who gave it to me so I’ll definitely be giving it a try.

wonderful review! Loving my luck coming across your post! I set my DVR for Good Behavior this past wknd after seeing the trailer at the movie theatre, even my hubby was intrigued. I had no clue it was spawned from a Blake Crouch bind up of novellas! I have Dark Matter which I’m trying to get to by the end of this mth. This only adds to my interest in the show, thank you 😃💕

I’m a huge fan of Crouch. How did I not know about this book? I was just talking to his publisher two weeks ago about his books. They sent me a bunch of other books instead. A collection of novellas sounds great and so does the premise. I love Crouch and everything he writes. I’m sure I’d love this. Nice review! I’m glad you loved it.

Awesome review! I hadn’t heard of this one either! Did you see Wayward Pines? He wrote the books for that as well!
