The Billionaire Book Club

The Billionaire Book Club Questionnaire

#1: Who is your least favorite character in the book?
Me—Caplin Hawkins. I am an absolute idiot.

#2: Who is your favorite character?
Gorgeous, addictive, insanely challenging Ruby.
She’s smart, driven, self-confident, and so beautiful, she makes my chest ache.

#3 What is your biggest takeaway from the story?
Ruby Rockford and I are meant to be.
I just have to prove it to her.

For the entirety of my adult life, I’ve been content.
Content in my single lifestyle, content in my stressful-but-extremely-successful job as the main corporate counsel for almost every Fortune 500 company in North America, and content in my playful, spontaneous ways.

I had no idea it was possible for someone to change my mind.

The endless women and work are no longer enough, and just as Ruby Rockford told me—it’s about time I grow up.

It’s going to take a strategic attack from more than a couple brilliant minds to win her affection, but luckily, I know exactly where to find the right guys for the job…
The Billionaire Book Club.

It’s safe to say that I, Caplin Hawkins, the man most women would call The Ultimate Player, have finally met my match, and man oh man, has my end game changed.

I’m coming for you, Ruby.
And soon, you’ll be coming for me, tooarrows-2

My Review…

I have to start off this review by saying Cap has NEVER been my favorite character.  I should’ve known if anyone was going to pull off making me do a complete 180 on a character it would be Max Monroe they are geniuses.  That meet cute or meet hilarious as I would put it, it was perfect and amazing and I’m pretty sure I was blushing, and I LOVED IT.

Ruby is amazing, she is tough as nails, working multiple jobs, putting herself through law school, doesn’t take no for an answer type of a girl.  I love the fact that her best friend is a guy, especially a guy that is her complete and utter opposite.  Ruby refers to him quite often in the book for advice and for backup and I enjoyed that friendship.  I really enjoyed her sassy no nonsense comebacks for multiple reasons, but especially for the phone calls and when you get there you will know 😉

Cap what can I say you started out a womanizer and of course end up a one woman man.. but to see your transformation was kind of amazing.  I so enjoyed seeing all the billionaires come together for the book club.  Them helping Cap with Ruby was probably one of my favorite parts of this book, and Thatch 😀 having him there was just icing on the cake.  I adored how Cap trying to romance Ruby kept backfiring on him, I think he just needed to relax and be him.

Overall this was normal cheeky, corky, romantic, heartbreaking Max Monroe romance, and I ate it all up in one sitting.  I can always count on this author to pick me up when I need it and make me laugh out loud.  Thank you, Max Monroe, for always exceeding expectations and being a go to author!
