Well that went entirely to fast for my liking… it was like I opened the book and boom it was over. I’m not even sure if this will be a very long review. A lot of stuff goes down in this book but I’m not even sure how it pertains to the plot or if there is a plot? This book was ALL over the place and at the end you are just sitting there staring like WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!
Amy in this book is using both dark and light magic and I actually found it wonderful. You know how in some books you just want the good guy to seriously kick some ass and step over the line just once and get some sweet revenge. Well Amy may or may not cross that line and you want her to do it so bad. All through these first two books nothing is every as it seems, every time Amy lets her guard down something always happens. I really just hope she can trust someone eventually but it doesn’t seem to be that way ever in Oz or anywhere. I always love all of the characters she comes across, they are always adding a new dynamic to the books. Whether the dynamic is good or bad has yet to be seen but still I love the dynamic. I’m so excited to see what characters end up actually being evil and which ones end up being good. Which way Amy will eventually turn…
