And that’s not even the worst of it.

My friend Raquel didn’t pull any punches when she warned me about my brand-new costar and his notoriously player-esque ways. Apparently, my most important mission on my first role in a feature film is to stay immune to his charms.

Are you kidding me? Production costs on this movie are in the hundreds of thousands a day, and staying away from a panty-whispering, vajayjay-charmer is supposed to be at the top of my list? Pfft. Puh-lease.

It doesn’t matter that he’s annoyingly attractive, uber rich, crazy famous, and lusted after by ninety percent of the female population; Andrew Watson is trouble with a capital T—especially for a woman like me.

As a preventative measure, I’ve decided to go ahead and hate him.

Don’t worry, you guys, I’m completely in control. There’s absolutely no way I’m going to do something stupid like fall in love with him.

My Review…

How many tropes can you have in one book and still fall hopelessly in love with all the characters???  Enemies to lovers, forbidden by best friend and sister romance, and celebrity trope!! This book was perfection I didn’t even know I needed it, I knew it was coming wasn’t particularly hyped for it but loved Max Monroe so was an obvious auto read for me.

Birdie’s character is everything a strong southern woman should be, bring on the boots, the sass, and the take no prisoner attitude. Her verbal sparring with Andrew was amazing, yet she had such a loving quality toward her sister Billie.  Her relationship with her sister was everything I would hope for if I had a sister, it was so well developed in this book.  She treated all of her staff so well in this book and I really enjoyed that about her character, that she was never mean to them, that they were more of a family.

Andrew on the other hand was a crazy wild man who only thought about himself really and women. He really was a horn dog in the first book we met him in and his reputation proceeded him for sure.  However you got to see the family side of him in this book, and a friend side of him.  I loved the 180 character turn he took, and the fact that it was him who fell first and she had to come to terms with it.

Will there ever be a Max Monroe book I dislike? I doubt it, I have yet to find one.  I would like to thank Max Monroe and SocialButterlyPR for a copy in lieu of my honest review.
