My Review…

This bromance between these hockey players is amazing.  I can’t even describe how happy I am to read these books even if it’s just for the bromance.  The witty banter among the friends is amazing, I love how they can razz each other one second and then have each other’s backs the next.  There were tons of LOL moments in this book, probably just as many of those as there were steamy moments.

 

I wasn’t sure if I could fully accept Dean as one of main men in this series.  He always came off in the other books as a player/manwhore.  Which let’s be honest was his go to thing, but when you get to know him in this book, you know that he lets every lady know up front that it’s all that is.  So I guess if you just want a good time then go for it.  However, when he decides to commit, he commits hardcore, there is no wavering on his end.  Elle Kennedy really gives these characters deep backgrounds which causes you to become emotionally evolved with them.  I LOVED meeting his family, especially his sister.  The soup incident had me practically snorting I couldn’t hold it in.  I’m hoping maybe in a spin off or later in life we get a book about his sister?

 

Allie is amazing, I kind of want to be like her when I grow up, except I’m supposed to be a grown up.  She is finally breaking free from her ex and it’s about time.  She think’s that she doesn’t need Dean and when it turns into something more it is fantastic.  This girl is amazingly emotionally strong and doesn’t even realize it.  Having to go through the trauma she did when she was younger and all the things with her father is kind of crazy. I like how she is standing up for her acting career early in life instead of later especially with her agent. I didn’t know I wanted half the stuff she does when I was in college.  I find her courageous and strong willed, a great example.

 

I’m so in love with this authors writing and I can’t wait to continue on… that bomb at the ending that was dropped had me all like….
