October Wrap Up!

I’m a little late to the game with wrapping up my October reads… I was really hoping to have Queen of Shadows read for October but that didn’t happen.  I read 7 books in October much less than my September but that’s okay!

In Ruins by Danielle Pearl -I rated this book 3 stars, while it was very enjoyable I feel like some of it was predictable and a little to young for me.

Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo – An obvious 5 stars from me! I loved the conclusion to the Six of Crows duology.

Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes – 3.5 stars this book had second book slump for me 😦 Which is said because I loved You so much!

To Love and To Cherish by Lauren Layne – 5 stars! Lauren Layne is an auto buy author for me.  She has never let me down with any book she has written!

A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness – This book blew me away, I gave it 5 stars! I couldn’t even handle the emotions that were flowing through me by the end.

Heated Pursuit by April Hunt – 4 stars! This book was super fast paced but didn’t leave you hanging. I enjoyed the thrilling ride in this one I can’t wait to see what she writes next!

The Billionaire Next Door by Jessica Lemmon – 5 stars for sure!! I can’t even explain how much I am loving this series by Jessica Lemmon.  She does the bad boys so well, then you add  a bad boy billionaire *sigh*

I’m doing well on my Goodreads goal for the year, I had to bump it  up already so I will probably meet my goal by the end of November which is 110 books.  How are you doing on your yearly challenge?  Did you sign yourself up for one??
